Gynecology refers to the surgical specialty dealing with health of the female reproductive system including the uterus, vagina and ovaries. Literally, outside medicine, it means "the science of women."  

Common types of procedures performed include:

  • Endometrial Ablation
  • Polypectomy
  • D&C (Dilation and Curettage)
  • Diagnostic Laparoscopy / Pelviscopy
  • Hysterosalpinograms (HSG) to verify that fallopian tubes are open
